I wish words could describe how grateful I am for your generous Track and Field scholarship for my upcoming competition in Brazil. I never would have expected someone outside my immediate family to believe in me as much as you all have. For that, I cannot thank you enough. Your scholarship covered over half of the money I needed to pay for the travel and food at the Olympic Center in Brazil. I cried so much that night because this donation is more than just money, it’s a sign that I should continue to work hard and go after my goals. To see the endless support from my family, friends, and Plainfield Now gives me the confidence to go after the gold. Thank you so much for everything and for making my dream of being on the US National Team a reality.

I am a recent graduate of North Carolina A&T State University and like many college students I didn't make it by my self I had help. One of the major contributors was the Plainfield Now program headed by Ayisha Mapp. I must say that during my final year it was a great help which lead to a great burden being lifted so I could finally put all of my energy into my studies. So I would just like to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to the Plainfield Now program for helping me walk across the stage as a college graduate.
